New organizations integrated to Government Payment Portal

15 January 2019, Baku: Efforts to expand the coverage of the Government Payment Portal launched by the Central Bank continue to organize collection of taxes, duties, rent fees, fines and penalties, charges for utilities and communication and other mass payments by the banking system and the postal network in a centralized manner.
Joint actions with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Education and the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan resulted in collection of payments for the services supplied by the said institutions through the centralized infrastructure.
From today onward payments for 26 services supplied by the above institutions and their subordinated bodies, including maintenance of execution records in notaries, recognition of educational documents issued by relevant official authorities of foreign countries and donations in favor of out-of-school education institutions may be made at over 2500 branches and departments of 30 banks and the Azerpost LLC integrated to the Government Payment Portal and about 1000 payment terminals in cash and in a cashless form by payment cards using the website of the portal (www.gpp.az) and its mobile application.
To make payments, payers should use ID card requisites on the Ministry of Justice; ID card requisites, TIN or the number of a document presented by the institution on the Food Safety Agency; a payer code issued by the Ministry of Education on the said institution; and ID card requisites on out-of-school education institutions for user identification.
