Central Bank organizes next summer school for pupils

15 July 2019, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized next summer school on 8-12 July 2019 as part of financial literacy events. Twenty pupils aged 10-12 joined the summer school held under the motto ‘Wallet is my treasury’. The main goal of the school was to educate the pupils on history of money, currency, what is budget, development of a personal budget, saving, wasting and creation of business plans through fun.

The kids were delivered presentations on the topic of the day, saw videos and played intellectual games. To allow the kids capture the topics properly, the sessions were interactively supported by various tasks and visual aids. The participants also visited the Central Bank treasury, HQs of the AccessBank and the ‘Atəşgah’ Insurance Company, met with professional bankers and insurers followed by QA session on banking and insurance.

The participants received training materials, various gifts and certificates at the end of the summer school.
