Azerpost LLC integrates to Central Bank's information retrieval system for financial products and services

17 September 2020, Baku: Efforts to integrate the bodies that supply financial services to the Central Bank’s ‘Information retrieval system for financial products and services’ developed according to the ‘Increasing knowledge and skills of financial market participants’ target of the ‘Strategic roadmap on development of financial services in the Republic of Azerbaijan’ approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 6 December 2016 and the ‘Increasing public awareness on digital payments’ priority of the ‘State Program on expansion of digital payments for 2018-2020’ approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 28 September 2018 are under way.

The ‘Azerpost’ LLC that provides a number of financial services to the population has been interfaced to the information retrieval system. Relevant information of the Azerpost LLC has been placed on the sections of this system (infobank.az) – ‘Branches and departments’, ‘ATMs’, ‘Payment terminals’, ‘Payment cards’.

Efforts will continue to integrate a variety of financial institutions, including those that supply banking, insurance products and services to the ‘Information retrieval system for financial products and services’ that facilitates digital access of the population to financial services and provides financial inclusion by stimulating their use.
