Central Bank continues to support families of martyrs and veterans

19 March 2021, Baku: Under the leadership of Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, our Army wrote new glorious pages in the world military history, winning great victories during the 44-day war. With the bravery of our army, the greatest wish of our people - the desire to return to their native lands, the right to live in their homeland - has been realized, and our lands, which have been under occupation for almost 30 years, have been liberated from occupiers.

The 44-day war proved once again how great the Azerbaijani people are, how strong the Azerbaijani state is, and demonstrated a national unity and solidarity to the whole world.

Today, the heart of every Azerbaijani beats with pride for this glorious historical event, our national unity strengthened, and our people confidently believe in further sustainable development of our country. Our state pays due attention and care to our servicemen and their families, who were killed and wounded on the way to the historic victory in the Patriotic War for the liberation of our lands from the Armenian occupiers.

The Central Bank also joins this national solidarity and closely participates in support measures implemented by the state.

As a continuation of social measures taken in this direction, 120 families of martyrs and veterans, including 35 families of martyrs and 25 veterans of the Jabrayil region, 48 families of martyrs and 12 veterans of the Guba region were presented holiday gifts on the occasion of Novruz holiday.
