Central Bank publishes results of the next Credit Conditions Survey

16 March 2023, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan announced the results of banks’ credit activity survey for Quarter 4, 2022. The survey includes an assessment of supply and demand factors for business, consumer and mortgage lending, including the identification and assessment of banks’ risks.

 

According to the survey, Q4 2022 saw a softening of banks' credit conditions and an increase in demand for loans. Banks have predicted that credit policy easing will continue in the first quarter of 2023. The Central Bank focuses on changing the credit policy of the sector and determines the corresponding prudential policy.
