Central Bank presents ‘Guidelines on environmental risk management for banks’ to bank representatives online

16 August 2024, Baku:  The Central Bank of Azerbaijan presented the ‘Guidelines on environmental risk management for banks’ to banks online.

The presentation covered the comprehensive framework for managing climate and environmental risks, internal policies, and procedures, matters related to the application of recommendations on the identification, evaluation, regulation and monitoring of risks.

In an interactive meeting Central Bank representatives addressed questions from bank representatives and received their feedback. The discussion led to the identification of next steps to enhance environmental risk management in the banking sector, including improving access to environmental risk-related information.
