Central Bank holds training session for media on Macroprudential Policy Framework and Countercyclical Capital Buffers

11 April 2025, Baku: Regular trainings are organized to strengthen the cooperation of the Central Bank with media institutions and to raise the awareness of media representatives in the field of finance and central banking.

As part of this initiative, the next training session was organized on Macroprudential Policy Framework and Countercyclical Capital Buffers.

The interactive training provided media representatives with detailed information on the foundations and principles of macroprudential policy, systemic risks, and the main and intermediate objectives of macroprudential policy. The training also included information on the additional countercyclical capital buffer requirement applicable to banks as of this year.
