Central Bank trains leasing and pawnshop representatives on AML/CFT legislation compliance

1 April 2026, Baku: The Central Bank of Azerbaijan held a training session for representatives of financial leasing companies and pawnshops on applying the legislation on the prevention of the legalization of criminally obtained property and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT).

The session focused on setting up internal control programs, implementing customer due diligence, and identifying suspicious transactions, followed by the Q&A session.
