Trial periods for regulatory sandbox regime first phase finished

6 August 2025, Baku: The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has completed the testing period of innovative products selected under the first stage of the regulatory sandbox regime.

Following the evaluation of the four products accepted for testing in the first stage, the following decisions were made:

Integration of Pasha Pay LLC’s m10 application into the Binance platform

This project aims to enhance the security and transparency of cryptocurrency transactions by integrating the m10 application into the Binance platform. Users can deposit and withdraw funds to and from Binance wallets through this integration. The product's testing results were successful, so it has been extended for an additional six months.

Unicapital Investment Company OJSC, Cryptobroker platform

The Cryptobroker platform of Unicapital Investment Company OJSC

The Cryptobroker platform enables the easy, secure buying, selling, and storing of virtual assets. The product's trial results were successful, and it has been extended for an additional six months.

Mobile Payment Solutions LLC’s PortCoin cryptocurrency

As part of the project, the PortCoin cryptocurrency was issued and offered to Portmanat users for investment purposes. However, the project was suspended due to the failure to achieve the expected test results during the testing period.

Svort LLC, crypto trade platform

Svort LLC presented a project that provided for the purchase and sale of virtual assets (tokens) with fiat funds, the exchange of various tokens, the opening of cryptocurrency wallets, and the safe storage of customers' virtual assets. The project was suspended due to the failure to achieve the expected test results during the testing period.

The regulatory sandbox regime aims to form a regulatory and legal basis for the testing of innovative financial products in financial markets within a limited framework under the supervision of the Central Bank. It also facilitates the large-scale application of products that demonstrate successful results.
